Coach Bob Walker and a group of enthusiastic parents started All Star Aquatics based on one simple idea - Swimming is Fun! It's fun because we love to swim, coach swimming and participate in the best sport on earth. We have fun when we work hard and swim fast - which transcends age, ability, gender, talent, and experience. What happens when you learn to swim with All Star Aquatics? When you swim regularly and learn how to improve techniques? And practice and become more competent? What happens when you join our team?
Good things happen! Things like learning about dedication, positive attitudes, friendship, community, healthy values and strong self-esteem. We know it is the journey fueled by a passion for swimming that teaches these lessons, one stroke at a time, for use over a lifetime. We believe swimming is a microcosm of life and we endeavor to pursue it to each individual's fullest capability. Our success comes in small increments of a hundredth of a second, a first length, an improved stroke, and in large amounts of satisfaction, enthusiasm and a ton of smiles. Everybody is welcome.
We in All Star Aquatics know swimming is not always the easy choice. We have all wanted to quit, but finished the set. We wanted to sleep, but pulled ourselves to practice. We didn't think we could finish, but went faster. No one promised a trophy, but our rewards are greater than ever imagined. We are All Star Aquatics and we are all champions. Consider joining our team.
Mission
All Star Aquatics specializes in the development of each athlete, both mentally and physically. We strive to educate, teach skills and fulfill dreams. We believe in creating character, setting goals and working toward them practice by practice.
All Star Aquatics Goals
• Produce champions at all levels in all ages for lifelong competition - from mini meets to the Olympic Games.
• Practice excellence of teaching, training, and motivation at all team levels: athletes, coaches, parents, directors and volunteers.
• Provide a safe and happy team environment where athletes can enjoy the company of their peers.
• Share our championship attitude and form with the community.
Philosophy
Developing champions in the pool and life begins with a healthy winning attitude. Champions strive for excellence 100% of the time, knowing they practice the utmost to be the best they can be.
We guide and direct individuals towards maximum development of their talents and abilities. Talent is not a substitute for hard work. We shall help our athletes see their dreams become reality through persistent efforts. The path to realizing dreams is filled with many rewards, lessons and a lot of fun.
All Star Aquatics believes in the passionate pursuit of excellence. ASA's pursuit of exceptional performance in training and competition teaches the values of high self-esteem, personal accountability, self-discipline, leadership, and goal setting and goal achievement.
Our team's success shall be determined from selfless enthusiastic participation of athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers.
How We Shall Achieve Success
• Create and maintain an environment that fosters our championship attitude of excellence through continuous education, enthusiasm, evaluation, honesty, courage and fun.
• Implement a planning process to guide our innovation and establish a means for fearless and thorough evaluation of the team's success and effectiveness.
• Know that successful teams respect the opinions of all their participants. Provide communication channels so all opinions can be informed and considered. Minority opinion has equal importance in the majority's decision.
• Our long-term success shall be dependent upon the principles we practice rather than the people that practice them.
• Create partnerships with individuals and groups that strengthen and support our team's mission, goals and philosophies.
• Never compromise our mission and dedication to excellence. All Star Aquatics would rather become a great small team instead of a large mediocre team.
• Encourage 100% participation from all families. We learn from example. We are all All Star Aquatics.
• Utilize all local pools, beaches, bays and rivers to allow the fullest aquatic participation at any level.
• To accomplish these objectives, the ASA Board of Directors shall meet 5-10 times per year to guide, assure and evaluate our progress in meeting our mission, operating within the guidelines of the By-Laws, and maintaining the financial foundation to do so.
